Story Behind The Song
Our band was searching for a way spice-up our image, and in the process we all got a bit melancholy. So we ended up plugging in our guitars and amps to lift up our spirits and drive our blues away, and that's how the song was born.

Lyrics
BAD BOY BLUES @Joe C. Weidner
----------------------------------------
[INTRO] [1V] Well I'm an old time picker, but nobdoy knows my name. {uh,uh,huh}. I'm a barnyard stomper and
that's my only claim to fame h,uh,huh.} But when I'm feelin' down on my luck, the only thing that'll get me back up, is playin' low-down, dirty, nitty-gritty bad-boy blues. [2V] Well, I ain't a city-slicker, I'm a country boy
born and bred {uh, uh, huh} Got southern rock roots {and my} blood runs American red {uh, uh, huh} When I get
down in a rut, the only thing that'll change my luck, {is playin'} low-down dirty, nitty-gritty bad boy blues. [CH] I need them bad boy blues. I need them bad boy blues. To shake the saddness loose from my shoes. I need them bad boy blues. And the only way to shake 'em is to get out my guitar and play. [SOLO]--[3V] Well I ain't no body
special but I'm thankful for what I got. {uh, uh, huh} I get to make me a livin' playin' guitar in a band that rocks {uh, uh, huh.} Some times when the gigs are scarce. The only way to entertain ourselves {is playin'} low-down dirty, nitty-gritty bad boy blues. [Repeat CH] [SOLO]--[Repeat CH]--[Tag] And the only way to shake 'em {is to}
pick up my guitar and play--{uh, uh,huh}...
