I'd had a little rum before she walked in the door
Bought her a drink met her halfway across the floor
Before she could have a second thought I took her to the beach for a walk
Said she was cold in the pale moon light so I pulled her close and held her tight
Before long we could generate some heat and I guess we fell fast asleep

I woke up looking in her eyes
On my Bermuda Sunrise

There she was lying naked in the sand
I really like the way she had an all over tan
She was a beauty under the clear blue sky
And the others on the beach felt the same as
I looked around trying to find out clothes
But they were gone leaving us exposed
About 100 yards back to my hotel
I looked around said Hey its just as well


I woke up looking in her eyes
On my Bermuda sunrise


I woke her up with a wink and a smile
Said darling we got to run about a country mile
We hit the lobby from the poolside bar grabbed some towels knocked off the tip jar
She took off down the hall I said where are you going, where do I call
I don't think I ever knew her name, Maybe it was too much rum on the brain

But I woke up looking in her eyes, she was a beauty under the clear blue skys
