I didn't mark high for originality as the song is mostly a chord progression that isn't anything too much out of the ordinary. The song could be improved by including a melody over the progression. That's where things could begin to sparkle. I'm not very good at recording, so I'm not one to judge too much but the song begins pleasantly enough and then the obtrusive percussion kind of hijacks the rest of the music. It is recorded so loud that it detracts from the music. I'd take that out entirely (finger snapping etc.) as it takes away rather than adds. The maraca sound and brush sounds are all that are needed. Those seem to work. A melody would then make the song complete.

Lovely guitar intro, played very well and with feeling. Percussion and bass kicks in nicely and complimenting the guitar. I think the electronic/drum machine percussion works really well here also. Recording is excellent, as is the arrangement. Definitely enough to keep the interest here even without any vocals or lyrics. Great track.
