Story Behind The Song
This song, though almost our oldest, is the first on our new Demo. It was written spontaniously. Sitting in the corner of the basement with an old acoustic guitar, Jeremy picked a random chord that struck him to be beautiful and simplistic. He sang a phrase repeately overtop when Chris came in with some real substance and story line. It was the first song A Ballad Alchemy had ever performed live. John's Double bass (Arliene) provides a hormonic blanket for the song, while Brad's drums empathetically keep pace.

Lyrics
So sweet that your gone
So sweet that your gone
I?m going away
I?m going away to find a better place to stay awake
I?m leaving today
I?m leaving today to try and remind myself that I?m awake
Is it possible to breathe inside this box
Can you stand to be somebody that your not
Is it truly hard to concieve
That this breath could be my last reprieve
Am I wasting it all on you oh no
your gone
oh no
your gone
Don?t take me for granted It?s bad enough I?m stranded here
Don?t take me lightly I?ve always been glad to fell you near
Can you make out the time that we?ve had to be
Could you leave out the problems that we?ve had to see
When you build a bridge do you figure on the weather waring it away
When you live your life do you contemplate the day
it?ll fall down around you
down around me
now I?ve found you
can you find me
now that your gone
So sweet that your gone
So sweet that you were wrong
It may be true that only time can tell the future from the past
but I swear to you, you have?nt seen the last of me
I?m going away
I?m going away to find a better place to stay awake
I?m leaving to day
I?m leaving to day to try and remind my self that I?m awake
And I can?t believe your gone
I can see now that your gone
So sweet that your gone
So sweet that your gone
So sweet that your gone
So sweet that your gone
