Story Behind The Song
I recorded this work tape in the back of my van. I was a finalist in a songwriting competition. All 4 finalists were given 3 weeks to write a song with the word "Santorini" in the title (as in Santorini, Greece). Since my kids were all home from school, I had to drive to a Grocery store parking lot for some quiet to record it :)

Lyrics
VERSE 1
Will you think of me in SANTORINI
When he takes your hand to pull you close?
Will those sweet nothings that he whispers
Tell you something you don't know?
Can he make you laugh without trying?
Do you exhale at his touch?
Does he know when you get nervous
Your left eyebrow crinkles up?
PRE-CHORUS:
We both know he can't love you
He can't give you what you need
But he's with you in SANTORINI
And I'm here on my knees
CHORUS:
I hope you see me in the moonlight
Hear my voice when the waters crash the shore
Cause if you don't think of me
There in SANTORINI
Then you don't love me anymore
VERSE 2
Your bike is still on my front porch
The one you bought last month on sale
I can't get myself to sell it
Makes me feel like you're here
