Story Behind The Song
After writing Perpetual E-motion I tried to find another impossible concept, but came up with Perfect Crime, which is really a paradox - so I tried to fit as many contradictory statements as I could into the song.

Lyrics
Perfect Crime (The paradox song) (words and music by Alan Gillis)
Verse 1
In every crowd you're the focus of attention
Your friends say I'm wrong for you
They don't know what you're thinking of
But they don't know you like I do
Pre chorus
You're not so wild - I'm not so tame
We're different behind closed doors
You built the wall - I broke it down
And we both found what we were looking for
Chorus
And when we're alone together
We can let it run slow
We can hear the silence
When the light is a fading glow
When your breathless whisper burns a memory
Freezing the moment in time
If this love is wrong it's got to the perfect crime
If this love is wrong it's got to the perfect crime
Verse 2
It's Friday night - we're going to a party
I'm happy just to be with you
We go together like fire and ice
But no one knows you like I do
Pre chorus 2
You're not so wild - I'm not so tame
But I'm the one who found the real you
You built the wall - I broke it down
And I promise I'll be there for you
Repeat chorus
Solo (verse)
