Waste Time

Song Description

A man has lost the love of his life and so as the title of the song states he's just wasting time, or his life, away in hopes that she may come back to him some day. He feels it is his fault that she left him, it is due to stupid actions on his part throughout the years. Even if he never gets her back and he has to move on at some point she will always be the one he wants, he would give up anything or anyone else at any point if she said the word.

Lyrics

They say don't waste time but I waste time each and everyday. I look at the years of my life and I can see them slipping away. I wanna slow it down, rewind, hold onto right now. I blink my eyes another days gone and I can't get it back no how. And when I screw up, I lose, I'll never make it right. I try to fix up the mess I made but it's a, it's a losing fight.
Chorus
If I scream your name from a mountain would you hear my voice? I keep waiting, waiting, I wait for you, wait for you because I have no choice. I guess I moved a little to slow, now I gotta let you go.
Now if I see you again, I'm gonna lose my mind. My heart stops, I can't breath but it's a, it's a waste of time. Because I know were through, what's done is done. But you and I can not deny you'll always be my number one. And I'll still hold you, real tight, in my memories. No matter how hard anyones tries they'll never take those from me.
Chorus
If I scream your name from a mountain would you hear my voice? I keep waiting, waiting, I wait for you, wait for you because I have no choice. I guess I moved a little to slow, now I gotta let you go.
Bet you find me one day, old and alone. Every bridge I've ever built all burned and gone. And I'll be right here was i was, still waiting on you. Wastin time until the day my voice rings through.
Chorus
If I scream your name from a mountain would you hear my voice? I keep waiting, waiting, I wait for you, wait for you because I have no choice. I guess I moved a little to slow, now I gotta let you go.
