Lyrics
Sometimes a full grown man doesn't know what to do
an educated woman, she's as baffled as you
and what gets you stuck, well I get stuck on it too.
The best-laid plans of chocolate mice in the sun
The best-laid plans of chocolate mice are over before they're begun
You make them once
You make them twice
the best-laid plans of chocolate mice
You can take the world in an aeroplane ride
or you can take the world and you can hold it inside
where the things you know and your dreams explode into fragments of shimmering light
You make them once
You make them twice
the best-laid plans of chocolate mice
Sometimes a pretty face has you falling apart
she only looked your way and she melted your heart
like the best-laid plans of chocolate mice in the sun
The best-laid plans of chocolate mice are over before they're begun
You make them once
You make them twice
the best-laid plans of chocolate mice
