Story Behind The Song
A while back, while revisiting old Nintendo games (I still have a working console) and delving into remembrances of Depeche Mode and Erasure in all of their synthetic glory, I decided to have an encore for all of the old pop synth sounds that seem to have been left behind in the three or so decades that have passed since their debut and quick fade into oblivion.
Song Description
While much of the electronic writing that I do these days aspires toward acoustic elegance, none ever truly reaches that goal with ultimate success. In contrast, this number decisively brags about its electronic/synth roots and owes its existence to a break in my usual repertoire which I have allowed myself on account of the fact that life is short. Might as well enjoy it!
