Story Behind The Song
A friend of mine was going through a divorse. I would ask her how things were going. Her circumstances her horrible. But as she spoke, she kept going back to how good God is and what he was doing in her life. As I was driving home, I thought about how it's usually a drag listening to someones tragic story. But this story had a different effect on me because she kept her heart filled with the hope of God. And because she kept talking about His goodness, I wasn't slimed by her report. I felt inspired.
Song Description
Everyone eventually finds themselves in situations out of their control. If we can't change our circumstance, we can change our perspective. And as we talk about what God has done in us through our situation, it makes us sparkle.
