Story Behind The Song
How Spiders view humans.
For every one human there are eighty-eight spiders with enough venom to kill a human with one bite.
Every species of spider has remained unchanged since humans left their trees and learned to walk on two legs.
If they had legends, they would all believe evolution because they saw it happen.
They would have given up their overworld to humans.
And they did.

Lyrics
Humans are cheering in the bright white light
Humans are sentinel and powerful
Dealing out judgments of Life and Death
(We must die?) We must fight for the right to what's left
Do they talk? Do they dream?
Do they think they know what we are?
Were they once not so different than us?
Did they just grow too large to know as much?
Why do they want us to die?
What if we chose to fight?
Eye for eye and fang for fang
Eighty-eight on one, Could we make them all die?
Are they really so very large?
Are they miniscule to another world?
Do they get crushed and do they know why?
How can they see all with so few eyes?
Humans are living in the bright overworld
Humans are pretending to be powerful
Spinning out webs of steel and beliefs
(Do they believe) Do they think they just want to get some relief?
Do they believe?
Do they believe?
Do they believe?
