Story Behind The Song

When Toyota chose our area to build a new factory, it seemed a good time to create a welcome song for them as Americans, Hispanic and Japanise people would come together to work and build the new trucks.As it turned out, the San Antonio symphony was having problems financially, and I made contact with the Toyota rep who was here, and the symphony and proposed the symphony join with me and others to create a Grand opening program in hope that it might generate interest and that the symphony might also find some financial backing, as well as create a theme to promote a good working relationship for the plant.Sadly, before the plant was ready for a grand opening, the symphony filed bankrupsy.I still believe the song could be useful now considering current events.The SA symphony is back on it's feet now.

As citizens of the world, we may all have major differences, our looks our language our customs. But we are more alike than we are different, and in the end do we not share a desire to live in a peaceful world.This is only possible if we can come together in a united effort to make it a Better World.
