Story Behind The Song
The chorus found it's way into my head one day while I was walking my dog. I have no idea why or from where and I dismissed it as a funny and silly random thought. Later that night when I was rehearsing with my band, and after many beverages, I apparently told them about my idea...and immediately forgot about it. The following week, our lead singer reminded me of it and we all got a laugh out of it, but we all kind of realized there was some potential. So we started jamming on it, then I wrote the verses and voila! The Banana Song was created.
