Shades of Steely Dan (which is a really good thing).
Everything is really top shelf.
Really Nice !! I know who you are----but can't remember!!
This artist has a harmonic command I find refreshing, with fine modern lyrical sensibility within a form that echoes a bygone classic period in jazz -- one that is imbued with an unfailingly timeless sense of modernity. I can abide in this place a l-o-n-g time comfortably. -- An ear stretcher here, but an irresistible piece of candy as well.
I need another martini.....
Kind of quirky but I liked it. Maybe more jazz than blues or at least a combination of the two.
Sweet. Very sweet! The singer with that the guitar at the top leads to an extremely tasteful band, sensitive to every note, feel and groove. I'm definitely impressed.
Nice musically greasy vibe. Performances are fine!
Love this cool sound ...TOm Waits meets george Benson
Nice job. Instrumentation was nice.
Great song. I like the jazzy feel. It's like a fusion of jazz and blues. The arrangement is really good. The bass is has a nice tone. The guitar lead is really sweet. The backup vocals sound really nice.
Down low little blues / jazz with shades of Mose Allison and maybe Michael Frank, very nice changes and solid playing.
Nicely done! That one is a definite keeper!
Nice jazz piece with interesting lyric and instruments.
