Lyrics
There's a bad storm a comin',
Wind's kicked up a bit
But folks don't scare easy
out here on the spit
They'll raise a glass up
As they hunker down
Because that's how they do it
In this corner of town
There's a shadowy figure
on the beach in the night
It appears, then it's gone
Before the first light
Some say it's a warning
That the storms on it's way
As it disappears
Into the Willoughby Bay
I met a girl once
Down by the dune
She came out around sunset
And she slept until noon
I remember what she felt like
But I don't know her name
She drew our hears in the sand
And I was never the same
Now she's a Shadowy figure
on the beach in the night
She appears, then she's gone
Before the first light
I hope she'll stop by to see me
When she comes back this way
So I won't have to stray far
From the Willoughby Bay
Solo
Now she's a Shadowy figure
on the beach in the night
She appears, then she's gone
Before the first light
I hope she'll stop by to see me
When she comes back this way
So I won't have to stray far
From the Willoughby Bay
