Many many many years ago the Son walked upon this land. He came to redeem His chosen sheep out of the evil ones hand.
Lamb of God who knew no sin the spottless and perfect one became sin that we might live and by His wounds we are healed.
Israel the chosen land, Messiah suffered and bled. On the cross He bore our sin outside the walls of Jerusalem.
The soldiers marched in a cadence of death as they led Him to the top of a hill. Out from the city the screaming turned to silence the shouts of the mob were still. He was kicked and beaten and maimed and scorned His body bore the sores of our sorrow. He was nailed to a cross and the blood ran down and it runs down today and tomorrow.
