before i had children, i was really into myself. i had time for profound reflection. i had time to ponder the meaning of life with the best of them. sure i became well versed but at the end of the day what did any of that intellectual babel mean? my children brought me back to the basics of life. the things that are truly important and meaningful. single people or DINKERS, have all kinds of free time to devote to themselves day in a day out. but for what purpose? so they can look good? i now can't imagine living the life i was living and not having them. it would be so empty. much. i know. i used to be that person.
