Story Behind The Song
I had a friend that I hadn't seen for 3 years, and I still liked him and kind of had a crush on him. And, after 3 years of not talking to him, I was invited to a party he was hosting, and I couldn't be more excited. But then, I started getting butterflies in my stomach about going and I wished we were friends again so that this wouldn't be so awkward. To vent my feelings I write songs, and that's how this song originated!
Song Description
This is one of my favorite songs that I've written, and I really like the instrumentation. It can relate to various situations that adolescents like myself go through. It is also a catchy song that at first you'll want to listen to over and over again, and then it gets stuck in your head. (Not that that's a bad thing!)

Lyrics
I'm always waiting for you
I never know what to do
You're so sweet
When we're all alone
But with your friends
You're just like a clone
ohoh
(chorus)
How can we fix this now?
Will you be there to show me how?
I don't know what to do
Feel like I'm falling through
Will someone please save me now?
You're cool when we're out at the mall
But at school you think you know it all
And I like to talk on the phone
But all you care about is being well known
ohoh
(chorus)
(bridge)
Why don't you open your eyes?
Take a deep breath and sigh
(instrumental)
(chorus)
why can't you see?
You're only hurting me
