Little Sonata

Song Description

Five months following the death of my father, I am wondering about "what next" questions for my own life and the lives of those I love. This little song attempts to capture the mood of these questions without ever completing any answers. However, the use of repetition and variation seems to incant a song of hope that "what was, will always be again - forever." The song suggests that there is simply no final answer to any of our questions - deliberately teasing us to "fill in the blanks" on our own - with a few cues from what we already have heard, ie what we already know in our souls. Little Sonata was written by Bruce Mills in 2002 and produced in 2011.
