The Moon Time

Story Behind The Song

I have been playing since 1995 at the Moon Time in Coeur d'Alene, Id. In that time, I have come to consider the Moon Time to be a place where my musical identity as a songwriter/performer has continually evolved and taken shape. I consider everyone connected with the Moon Time from the owners to all the staff to be the most excellent group of people and an extended family to me. Some of my best times and best performances over the years have taken place at the Moon Time and I can't say enough about how incredible it is to be part of the history of the Moon Time.

Lyrics

My feet carried me down to the Moon Time, and there the party began.
It was 40 below, a hot cup of joe, a friend by my side.....There at the Moon Time.
The wait is not long down at the Moon Time, for all of the things that you need.
There's Phil at the door, Mr Rogers for sure, and Dracula too....down at the Moon Time.

All of those late nights.
All of those city lights.
All of the times, I stayed up with you.
My memories remain. The greatest joy, the deepest pain.
Their waiting there tonight down at the Moon Time.
Its waiting their tonight down at the Moon Time.

Let's head on down to the Moon Time, and let the memories begin.

Let's head down to the Moon Time baby, let's head down to the Moon Time now!
