Story Behind The Song
When I was a little child, my father held me in his arms and showed me the half moon. I said "Broken, Fix." He wrote this song for me in memory of that moment and the faith I had in him.

Lyrics
She climbs upon her Daddy?s knee with teardrops in her eyes
She puts her arms around him close and then she softly sighs
There?s something wrong up in the sky, it doesn?t seem just right
Daddy, there?s a broken moon, tonight
It used to shine so big and round ? Oh Daddy, won?t you fly
Up there and fix that moon up in the sky.
You always fixed my little toys, my bike and wagon too
You made my Dolly walk again, she?s just as good as new
So here?s another job for you. I hope that you will try.
Daddy, there?s a broken moon up in the sky.
MUSICAL BRIDGE
It used to shine so big and round ? Oh Daddy, won?t you fly
Up there and fix that moon up in the sky.
You always fixed my little toys, my bike and wagon too
You made my Dolly walk again, she?s just as good as new
So here?s another job for you. I hope that you will try.
Daddy, there?s a broken moon up in the sky.
There?s a broken moon -- up in the sky.
