Story Behind The Song
We all have dreams and passions but unfortunately we can't always pursue them because we have to keep the wolves away... We become bitter and frustrated. What would it be like to just have all of the time and money to just do what we WANT to do with our lives?
Song Description
A person works everyday, all day, week after week, month after month, year after year in an 8 X 10 office. She envies the people she sees across at City Hall splashing around in the fountain and children laughing and eating icecream. She is bitter because she isn't free... free to live her passion because she has work to live. One day, she just calls in sick and lives for herself - doing whatever she feels like doing - just for that one day. And it feels so good!

Lyrics
It Feels So Good!
Doin' what I want, and it feels so good!
I know there's things I need to do
But it feels so good!
The sun's so bright, it feels so nice
My hands are warm
Most of the time there as cold as ice
If all work and no play is the story of my life
So be it, but gimme one day to feel alive!
Blowin' out of here, not lookin' back
Takin' off, gonna make some tracks
And it feels so good!
Ready or not life, here I come
Oh ready or not life, here I come
Always held my thoughts in tight
Don't think I've had a day in my life
When I've just let go
I feel so alive, I feel so free
A natural high is lifting me
I feel so good, yeah I feel so good!
If all work and no play is the story of my life
So be it, but gimme one day to feel alive!
Blowin' out of here, not lookin' back
Takin' off, gonna make some tracks
And it feels so good!
Oh ready or not life?here I come!
Oh ready or not life?here I come!
Oh ready or not life?here I come!
Oh ready or not life?here I come!
