Lyrics

Call off the dogs
They are right outside your window
They are right outside your window as we speak
Call off the dogs
Holler if you need me, they are trained to attack you and me
Call off the dogs
They would bite the hand that feeds them
Don't you understand they are no friend of man
Call off the dogs
They are neither saint nor demon
And they're runnin wild all accross our land

Here I lie, Here I lie, Here I lie
Someone help me I can't breath
Here I lie, here I lie,
Someone help me

Call off the dogs
Only they disturb the stillness
You can tell them by the company they keep
Call off the dogs
They will work in to a frenzy
My body's tired, my baby's tryin to sleep

Here I lie, Here I lie, Here I lie
Someone help me I can't breath
Here I lie, here I lie,
Someone help me

Step back from your window
Get back in your bed
There's nothin to see here
You hear what I said
Step back from your window
Get back in your bed
And shut off that camera now

Here I lie, Here I lie,
Someone help me I can't breath
Here I lie, here I lie,
Someone help me I can't breath
Here I lie, Here I lie
Someone help me I can't breath
Here I lie, here I lie
Someone help me
Someone help me

Great start to the song, with good strong guitar. It is very catchy and the strong bass and percussion carry it along really well. The chorus is perfect in both instrumentation and vocally.
The lyrics are certainly original and the allusion of the 'dogs' referring to devious people gives depth and interest to the song.

Love the beat in this song ...background is awesome....were you doing some minor in spots?..the story seemed futuristic to me...is this part of a series of stories...can't say I get where you are going with this but I liked it a lot...Your back ground music really got to me ...I really like the power in it I was feeling.

A very interesting song. In the beginning I thought it was truly about dogs but once the double meaning starting filling in the puzzle made sense.
