Story Behind The Song
I took a hiatus from writing for a few years and thru the encouragement of some old friends who became successful musicians and songwriters, who, oddly enough, I inspired. I bought some recording equipment and started writing again. This was the first song that I wrote in 1995 after this hiatus.
It is a fun song with some double-meanings swirling around in it. This is a song about how ALL kinds of love and how great love can take us all to the "promised land" of friendship and more.
The tune has a funky Gospel flavor running through this tune. Hope you enjoy it!
