Story Behind The Song
This son has had a long history in my catalogue. I never truly recorded it, because it was a special song to me, as it was one of the first PURE folk songs I ever wrote. I did release on a collection of solo tracks, but aimed to record it with other instruments when I found a place for it on the right album. Then I began work on my new album, "The Night Train" and felt that "Time for Leaving" has finally found its rightful home, as the closing track on the album. I hope you enjoy it.
