The Riders of Juarez

Story Behind The Song

I wanted to write a Spaghetti Western soundtrack and worked on an idea I had a year ago and this is what transpired. The Acoustic Guitar sets up the rhythm that continues until the end. I see a this as a transitional song as the cowboy rides into a little Mexican town on the border.

Song Description

A solo Spanish guitar kicks things off and then the rhythm guitar kicks-in and we're off and running! Throughout we here "Mariachi" fills with strong cellos supporting the bottom end. There's a nice bridge in the middle that changes things up a bit before we return to the main feel of the song.
