Story Behind The Song
I've always wanted my own bar or club. Having been house band at a Mexican restaurant for years, my love of the food, culture, and colorful Spanish decor is immense. But more than anything - my daughter moved to New Mexico with her mother at a very young age; This song is inspired and dedicated to her.

Lyrics
Wish I owned a Mexican bar, where I could drink cold beer and play my guitar.
Hangin' round a rusted Cantina with cold margaritas an hot Senoiritas.
Well it sounds so simple yet lifes, so complicated.
Visiting on weekends and, lazy afternoons
Just a few more beers with my baby, cant be that wrong no it cant be wrong
Chorus (short)
My-My- Mexican bar
Wish I my own saloon, I'd spit shine my guns and shoot at high noon.
Diggin my heels in a dirt dance floor, over the border with the girls next door,
Well it sounds so simple yet lifes, so complicated.
Servin' up tequila passion while, howlin at the moon
Chorus (full)
My-My- Mexican bar
Bridge
Sitting on the back porch, where the tikki light illuminates your face
Paradise in your home town, where the stompin grounds feel warm as heavens grace
And I like my wonderful girlfriend swayin' by my side
Such a wonderful feeling as our hearts collide!
Bar break
My___ Shes mine..... My___ All mine..... My___ She's Mine!
Chorus
Spanish ad lib translation "Drink up everybody"
End
