The Phantom Cuckoo

Story Behind The Song

They seek him here they seek him there.

Song Description

For a time in the 60's The Royal Signals Band was plagued by 'The Phantom Cuckoo' who would appear only at the most important of Concerts, the best of which was at 'The Royal Festival Hall' in London where he waited until our Director of Music was about to bring down his baton. A loud 'Cuckoo!!!' was heard which had the whole Band in stitches. Thanks for the memory 'Dee'

Very well composed, it would definatelly fit good in a movie.

Good strong sounding piece here. Love the flute solo, very peaceful and tranquil with a good melody. Nice work.

Hi! Very interesting song! It will go very easy on an action movie. Good quality of the sound and the instrumental arrangements are very well done. Congratulations and good luck!

I like this piece, kind of reminds me of a secret agent theme song.

synth tune kind of pop yet seems like background for a film
