Story Behind The Song
Brian, Valerie and I decided to write and record a world class blues rock album. We started recording demos in my home studio in 1997 in Las Vegas. This was one of the last song we wrote. I had writen the music track and had the hook line. Valerie Bemis and Brian OShea finished the lyrics to one of the best songs on the album. We had more songs than we needed and my only regret is that Leaving U Shoes didn't make on the album, American Blues Delux. Now available at iTunes, Napster, Amazon in full album form. Of course you can save money and buy it here at Broadjam.com.
Song Description
Written by Dennis Logan Moore Brian OShea and Valerie Bemis. This is a moving song about a man who loves a woman that doesn't love him anymore. With the powerful guitar of Ricky Lewis and Brian's Smokey vocals, the song aches with lost love and the pain it brings. Recorded live in studio in 1997 it just sat until I decided it was time to release American Blues Delux. World class blues rock that will deliver the goods to any lover of great music.
