Story Behind The Song
This song was written while I was still living in Copenhagen before my return to Ireland. It tells of leaving a country and hard times there to start anew and was my first attempt to write a song in the Irish language.
Song Description
A song with a certain circular movement in it with lyrics in Irish and accompanied by solo acoustic guitar, which is based on a melody line rather than a chord progression. 'Ceol 's Rann' means music and verse or music and song in English.
