Story Behind The Song
I suffer from a mild case of Dyslexia. The best medicine is to face one's problems head on. I wrote this song as a coping mechanism for my lysDexia. Besides, I find it's humerous to have lived it. I hope you enjoy this snog.

Lyrics
The Dyslexia Song
She used lipstick on the napkin to write her number down
I made a point to call her now that I was back in town
Our conversation went just fine until I spoke her name
I thought she'd written Jean but she hung up when I said Jane
Reading is a challenge when the letters turn around
They have different meanings if they spell out whole new sounds
Numbers get inverted, phrases turn up inside out
I'm fluently lysDexic, on that there's no bdout
Then one day last November I came down with a bug
Ran down to the doctor & he ordered me some drugs
I mixed up the medications & broke out everywhere
Yea life is difficult for the phonetically impaired
His instructions were confusing cause half the words got lost
All the T's were dotted & I think my I's were crossed
My wiring was misfiring I misread the danger sign
& things did not get better after dialing 1-1-9
This condition really makes me sick - it's like a clock that often goes toc tic
The mouth & brain don't always connect - 10 out of every 2 people have this defect
Every word's a puzzle & each syllable's a fight
My tongue ends up upended & my left is wrong that's right
It's a vowel movement that goes back a long, long ways
It started in my childhood when I learned my C B As
L Y S D E X I A
