Song Description
An instrumental version of a song we wrote with Taylor Swift in mind. It was written for a specific submission opportunity.
It has a very contemporary, Country-Pop or Country-Rock feel. It builds with the intro, first verse and chorus with layering of additional instruments.
The opening starts with a lone banjo. Keys and a mild distorion rhythm guitar fill out the first verse. The chorus tops off the layering with a heavily-reverbed lead guitar that is very contemporary.
This would be an excellent song for Taylor Swift to consider with the vocal version. As an alternative, it might work nicely for Kelly Clarkson or Faith Hill with a minor lyric rewrite.
The sound is very contemporary and catchy.
