Story Behind The Song
In this song I tried to capture the excitement I felt on buying my first guitar and learning how to make it sing. Its also a tribute to my early heros, Bryan Adams, ACDC and Van Halen.

Lyrics
You saw the grail in a retail window
Streamline and sanctified
Saving every cent of your weekend wages
Now the time to claim your prize
You take it home you?re along in silence
Open the box in a daze
You plug it in on full amp settings
Trembling across your knees
An open string and it rings like heaven
You can?t believe it that this moment is real
You know you gotta work hard to deliver
Play night and day, till you get the feel
Your friend descends - say no, not today man
Business to attend
Locked in your tower you?re a bedroom wizard
Demons in the strings you bend
You jam along to your old man?s vinyl
Van Halen, Zeppelin, the masters of steel
Your mama taps in time to the rhythm
You?re well on your way, to getting the feel
Finger dancing
Get into the band scene
Get yourself a fanzine
Chicks just love it when you get the feel
It doesn?t matter where your road takes you
Rock star, janitor or boardroom deals
This time machine always takes you back to
When you were fifteen, and you had the feel
