Story Behind The Song

This song was written during the summer, and is meant for a reminder to adults to be lighthearted and have fun together even in the face of the doom we call life.

Song Description

The song begins with an electric/acoustic guitar intro, adding bass and drums until :18 when the lead male vocal comes in with the first verse. The guitars, drums and bass play throughout. The pre-chorus begins at :40 with male backup harmony. at :53 the chorus begins with Male lead vocal, female and male backup vocal in unison and female harmony, panned slightly to create the feel of a group singing together. The second verse, pre chorus and chorus follow this pattern as well, with the guitar palm muted during the first verse for variation. The chorus is repeated once The bridge enters at 2:13 with a variation on the bridge, ending with approximately 1.5 measures of pause in the song, then all instruments and vocals/backup vocals re-enter with the final chorus Backup vocals repeat the pre-chorus during the final chorus to create an ending with the illusion that a group of people are joining together and singing.
