Story Behind The Song

i gained a considerable amount of popularity at a young age because of my television career whichi started to resent as people would flock around me just to discuss me as a social anamoly.i had no mother, didnt make many friends only ppl who wanted to be seen with me when i was popular and then didnt want to be associated with me when i wasnt leaving me very lonely and sadand violently angry...and then finally agressive towards people in general... i then decided i was better of alone and accepted the tears and dissapointments had taught me more thus were more of a blessing.... id like to say the song wrote itself...and then i understood what it meant to me... it really helped me clear myself of any negative energies that my younger years had left me with and thus this song is pure soul as far as im concerned.

it is the metaphoric existence of that oversensitive approach, laced with the resentment felt when my emotion and reaction were misunderstood... however the song unfolds to reveal the tears are falling for a deeper reason, that they are infact love after all and that since god is in the rain, raining on me forever may just be translating into a blessing
