Story Behind The Song
This song was actually a love song, that I wrote about music. When I wrote it, I thought about all the things that I love about it. The fact that I could keep my favorite song on repeat, and not get sick of it; the fact that I can listen to a song and really relate to the lyrics; the fact that the melody or tempo of the the song can change my mood, making me feel anything from energized to sad; the fact that music is there, everywhere I go; and the fact that I can't imagine life without it... music!
Song Description
This song is written from a song-writer/music lover's point of view, and uses a lot of similes about love, but the song is really about the love of music. E.g. "See you're my king, just like I'm your queen, that's why we get treated with royalties" implies that a man and a woman are like a king and queen getting treated like royalty, but in it's original meaning, it refers to music as the king, and the music lover as the queen, and the songwriter as receiving publishing royalties.
