Lyrics
Well it's the first call to the cherry fields and the rolling sky is high,
today - oh my - and what more can you say to the cows that pass you by - with their hum-drum eyes.
You're just a soul. You've got your carry-on bed in your suitcase - and I - I'm sure you've been told, about the flat-tat, the taken and given. Still you try.
It's just an over-flow, falling back from the dealings the feelings are magnified. And you know it's all for show - it's a sight under siege, but reality's never there.
So where's the stream? You can ask all those cows as they pass you by, but you know - it's only a dream - and the cherry fields get further away each day.
(oh, i really don't know. uh, I read it in a book somewhere. um, can't really remember which book it was, i can't remember the title, it was sitting there on the bookshelf. I have to dust it. i have to dust it every week. It gathers a lot of dust that book. Yes - it was a good book.) ..................Taking your time........
