Lyrics

Momma, Oh Momma!
By Cheryl Gross

Chorus:
Momma, Oh Momma
Please dont treat your man this way
Well I love you and thats all Ive got to say
Momma, Oh,momma
Please dont hurt your mans desire
Well Im inlove and my little hearts on fire

Verse:
I went to look around, everywhere in town
Momma tell me where can you be?
I saw sittin you there, in that chair
The man youre holdin hands with, isnt me

Chorus:
Momma, Oh Momma
Please dont treat your man this way
Well I love you and thats all Ive got to say
Momma, Oh,momma
Please dont hurt your mans desire
Well Im inlove and my little hearts on fire

Yeah I like this song. I think I know the artist and he an ole blues trooper just like myself and always coming up with good, solid blues.
everything is there all right. here's the tuff part tho. just a little more time spent on this song would put it in "Great" category, just a few more tricks.

It's a retro early r&b rock feel...Very high energy and kick-ass...great sounding band...strong arrangement and lead vocal...very authentic...this song will work for a lot of pitches here on broadjam...if you have the instrumental without the vocal you should pitch that as well...Great example of blues rock...Baby boomers as well as today's young blues fans will love this...good luck with it...

I like the sound of the drums and I also think the lead singers voice really has a nice edge - kind of reminds me of Stevie Ray Vaughn.

Great toe-tapping blues. You have a great voice and are spot-on with your pitch. Very good recording....clean with pro sound....and the instrument spread in the mix is excellent. Excellent guitar work.....clean and to-the-point. Don't know that it is quite Chicago-blues (I live in Chicago and was raised on Chicago Blues).....in the traditional sense.....but it clearly is a great band song for a live show and has a crisp, contemporary sound to it. Great job, thanks for sharing.

Great Vocal - fine instrumentation. Enjoyed.

I hate to say it but its pretty dismal

quality blues track , cool steady groove. nice style and memorable, liked the guitar parts and vocal

overall nice vibe and guitar work, as well as the lead vocal, though i'd mix this a bit more clear for the vocal to come UP.

Nice rock'n blues number. Really liked it.
