My Way or The Highway

A ego maniac of sorts who has to have things their way or not at all.

First chords are very punk feeling to me...and the vox delivery as well. NICE. I am digging the gritty guitar and the vibe of this track. The right production, arrangement, performance for this song. Well written well done. Subtly in your face...an understated tune, and look forward to hearing more from this artist.

Yes, I remember hearing some of these words way back when. I thought I was back as a teenager and my mother was nagging me again... I like how the song starts in B then drops to A. I usually don't hear that. Unique. Also, I like how all hell breaks lose during the out-tro.

Guitars and bass are at 5 star level....

You're only as good as you're weakest link....and you don't seem to have one so thats a good start! You have a cool sound and sound like a 'real' band and you're not trying TOO HARD which can be really annoying.I'm from the U.K. and started listening to music in 1979 so to me New Wave is The Skids, Magazine, Siouxsie the Banshees etc...this song sounds like it coming from a slightly older place, i'm thinking Iggy and the stooges (You're Pretty Face Is Going To Hell) RawPower album and his solo albums Instinct / Soldier - its kind of riffier and beefier than New Wave but maybe you're american and it means something different..For me though it feels good.

You guys are playing the heck out of those guitars. Sounds great

Great sound..it instantly grabs your attention, superb intro. Love the guitar work. Solid rhythm section. I liked the 'My Way or the Highway' idea. Catchy, its a strong hook.

Not sure I would categorize this as Rock - new wave. It has more of a classic rock sound. The lyrics could be strengthened - at times it felt like simple rhyming words were used to keep the song moving instead of trying to create a strong narrative. ie food and rude. I quite liked the panning backup vocals singing "My Way" - it was a nice effect.

I like this. Good vocals. Good harmonies. Nice arrangement. Great tempo. Nice feel.

you have a recognizable melody. overall production sounds dull.the intention of singer is well done in this particular sng

It is a weird song. It creates a nice 60s atmosphere.
