Story Behind The Song
After the main riff was written and the lyrics were pretty much completed, I still had yet to come up with a title & chorus. Then one morning I was reading the news and the first story that caught my attention was about a rock slide wiping out some houses in South America and I thought, "there it is!" Thus "(Smooth) Rock Slide" was born.
