After a divorce and the changes that followed
Garrick decided that it was time to pursue his calling, which was definitely not working nights in a grocery store. Upon deciding to record Glass Half Full, "Everything" was the first of 5 new songs that were written in a 2 week period of excitement, discovery, and resolve.
Song Description
Being born with the tools and gifts necessary to live a good and prosperous life are the central to what this inspiring mid-tempo rock song is expressing. In the bridge Davis is pulling at the listener to enjoy the "little things"(clean your car, make your bed, hug your child,etc.). Finally, EVERYTHING is about spiritual wealth and acceptance of being in charge of your own destiny.
