Story Behind The Song
I had lunch with an old High School buddy that I hadn't seen in quite some time. We started talking about the old neighborhood and he was commenting on how cool he thought my father was. He said he was like "the James Bond of dads". Well, that was a song hook right there and I went home to my studio and wrote and recorded that song in an afternoon!

Lyrics
James Bond Dad
Cruisin? down the road in a GTO, Gone 400 miles 200 hundred to go.
Rayban shades and a blue sport coat, close another deal and that?s all she wrote.
He may be stylish, he may be cool, one thing on his mind he?s just old school.
Got to get home, can?t be late, cause his wife and kids can?t wait?
Chorus
For their James Bond Dad, the best dad a kid could have. Got a James Bond Dad, All the other kids, wish that they had one too.
Cuttin? through the lake in his new I/O,Mercuiser eninge with power to go.
He can teach ya how to ski how to fish, how to relax how to cut the dish.
All the kids want to hang with me, Mom treats ?em nice feeds ?em for free.
But when the day is done and my pop get?s home, they all wish they had?
Chorus
If something gets broke, he can fix it. He can throw a pass even if you blitz it. He makes mom feel like a princess. Always at your game he never misses.
Chorus
