Song Description
I wrote this song on Veterans Day....It basically is about a few of the many feelings that soldiers may feel in a wartime far from home, and about taking one night to just throw a few drinks back and reflect on why they're fighting, what they are fighting for, and those they have lost during the fight.

Lyrics
Bottles and Guns
Pour one for the left, one for the right
We fought the good fight
Now all that's left is to hope and pray
You can't paint the sun in black and white
There's wrong and there's right
There aint no shade of gray
Oh there'll be stories told of how they fought for honor and somehow still found gold
Oh yeah, now we're having fun
Let's break out the bottles and the guns
And there's room for everyone and more, for sure
Let's break out the bottles and the guns
Boys, bring it in and count the cost
I hope that we're done
We lost so many along the way
Can't say we won but sure we'd have lost
If we cut - cut and run
And hope for better days
All day we heard the rockets firing and cannons being loaded
We deserve to have just one night that
sounds like home
Chorus
One for those that aint gonna make it home
Let's break 'em out, break 'em out
One for every step we soldiered on
Let's break 'em out, break 'em out
One for every battle we've lost and won
Let's break out the bottles and the guns
Chorus
