Story Behind The Song
When Candy started doing gigs around London, she would often perform her Patrick Stump song. She noticed she had a few fans in the crown that would attend all her gigs. So when they asked, when will you write a song for us, she was inspired to write London. And she dedicated this one to all fellow Londoners.

PLEASE NOTE THE BRITISH ANTHEM was not written by Candy Rose
London written by Candy Rose
A Foreigner you took me in and made me welcome
So many Races in faces I feel I belong
I've come a long way just to call you my home
London my number one city
Night light on Tower Bridge and Big Ben
I rode the London felt like I could touch the sky
You've shown me Love, shown me hate, just facts of life
London my number one city
CHORUS
London my number one city
On this life you went and took pity
Making all my dreams reality
London my number one city (x2)
Trafalgar Square to Leicester Square, that's how I roll
You got a problem, take it up with City Hall
Anything you want you can just make a call
London my number one city
At every corner, Culture and history
Great Landmarks standing in glory
This part I walk, Talk I talk is my story
London my number city
(CHORUS)
You're my number one city,
London my number one City
So all my Londoners unite
Put your differences aside
For we all love this great City
When hit with tragedy
Or faced with adversity
we're all part of this city
London! This one's for you London!
And I thank you London! This one's for you London! My number one city
(CHORUS)
You're my number one City
London my Number one City (X2)
