Story Behind The Song

I was people watching one day and I began to wonder how much you could learn from a person just by watching them from an extended amount of time. This song was the result of that thought.

Song Description

The song is about a guy who watches a woman through a telescope and falls in love with her. In his mind, she is the perfect woman for him. He feels like he knows everything about her and wants to be a part of her life. Sonically the song is very dark. It features an arpeggiated synthesizer along with other synthesized sounds and distorted drums. The song builds through the second hook where an electric guitar comes in and makes the mood even more intense. The bridge comes in and the chord progression and vocal melody changes to a slightly happier sound but just as dissonant as before. The bridge ends and goes back into the hook but the drums have been replaced with TR808 and CS70V synthesized drums. The hook plays again and goes back to the previous drum sounds and has another electric guitar solo.
