Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song after walking back home through a park just after sunset. It was a beautiful evening and there were many couples sitting on the benches together or walking hand in hand through the start of the night.
There was a special feeling in the air, and this flair is the inspiration of the song. It is my musical photograph of that moment - that feeling that I had as an observer of something as simple and beautiful as young love.
We recorded this song exactly as I wrote it. Same guitar and same melody, to preserve its original feeling. We only added a keyboard layer.

"Young love" describes the naive and beautiful feeling of falling in love for the first time. It takes you to a peaceful evening where couples are sitting on the benches or walking hand in hand through the start of the night. It describes the fire in their eyes, the innocence behind those first encounters that melt into the night. Dreamy acoustic guitar arrangement that supports a teenage female vocal. It's a very minimalistic arrangement that creates a peaceful feeling and leaves space for the vocals to tell the story.
