Story Behind The Song
One of my greatest influences, Bruce Springsteen, has such wonderful song titles. So as an homage to him, I borrowed his song titles and strung together to form a song. The only non-Bruce title is the song's title, "Just This Love Song," which I came up with to tie things together.
Song Description
A quiet love song describing the circuitous road to finding love inspired by Bruce Springsteen and the Everly Brothers.

Lyrics
Just This Love Song
Words and music by Inigo Figuracion (Taxi member # C-2100-5582)
(verse 1)
Well there's a darkness on the edge of town
Where you can look but you better not touch
And hiding on the backstreets
I'm still dancing in the dark
Now if I should fall behind
The ties that bind will pull me one step up
(chorus)
We're out in the street
It's all or nothing at all
And all that heaven will allow
Is just this love song
(verse 2)
Like how Adam raised a Cain
I was sent off to these badlands
On thunder road, through the tunnel of love
I found that promised land
Now if I should fall behind
The ties that bind will pull me one step up
(chorus)
We're out in the street
It's all or nothing at all
And all that heaven will allow
Is just this love song
(bridge)
Now I can cross my heart
And be blinded by the light
And I will drive all night, with this hungry heart
To find my beautiful reward
(verse 3)
Well growin up in this hard land
I felt I was born to run
Your human touch found the secret garden
For two hearts, a brilliant disguise
Now if I should fall behind
The ties that bind will pull me one step up
(chorus)
We're out in the street
It's all or nothing at all
And all that heaven will allow
Is just this love song
