Story Behind The Song
I worte this song about wanting to get away from it all but years later the lyrics progressed to fit around when when my wife had spent all our savings on going out and buying a new wardrobe (she got so fat she kept having to replace the smaller ones she was growing out of). She spent thousands and the last straw was a holiday to Mexico that we couldn't afford! I wanted to get away and never come back.

Lyrics
It ain't sunny in here no more,
They heard us fighting on the 16th floor
I have reached my limit and now I want out of here
I've got my whole case packed, got my mind made up,
I leave my wife, cat, money everything that I've got,
I say goodbye to the wind the cold the rain
So far away, So far away,
I've got a one way ticket so I can get outta here
Took the plane to Mexico, just the place for me to go,
So far, so far away from here
I saw tequila, senioreetas and I lay on the sand
I wanna call you so you'll understand
I'll leave it til the morning, cos I don't need your tears
Your tears are
So far away, So far away,
Oh I've got a one way ticket, So I can get out of here
So far, So far
Seven hours later got my suitcases through,
Got some duty free shopping and some sunglasses too,
I said goodbye to the wind the cold the rain
Solo
You're So far away, So far away,
I've got a one way ticket, So I can get out from here
So far away, you pushed me, so far away,
I bought a one way ticket, So I can get out of here
Cos I'm free, so free, so free, so free
