Story Behind The Song
It was New year's Eve 2015 and I was at my mother's house with my brother and his family. My sister-in-law and nephew were doing crochet, my niece was playing Minecraft, my brother was in and out, between the laptop and the radio, and my mother was just chatting and enjoying having family around. I noticed the contrast between the old traditional craft of crochet and the new game of Minecraft and used it for the basis of the song, which I started writing at the time.
