I like this tune. Not typically what I listen too but I liked it non the less. I have a feeling this was written for a girlfriend or wife possibly after an argument or as a way to communicate something long standing in the relationship. But I could be wrong! I really liked some of the accenting licks that were played in between sections of the song. The guitar, Violin etc!!
Very cool guitar tone and nice solo at the end. Good job! It reminds a little at times me of a European artist/guitarist called Chris Rea. Check him out when you get a chance. I have a feeling that you will connect with his style of music. It's really very good!
I like the very short percussion intro. Very clever and entertaining lyrics. The singer sells the song very well. Very catchy with a strong chorus. Great acoustic guitar and the short bursts of lead guitar are really effective, particularly at 1.50. Lovely use of percussion.
Got me from the start. Really enjoyed this song as it is put together very well. Balanced production of vocals and music. Instrumentation and Vocals were solid. Well done.
I really like the fiddle and how all the other instruments blend into the song. I also really like the lead vocals and I also like the classical guitar solo!
Fun song. Great all around. The instrumentation is very good. Nice mix. Solid arrangement. Vocal rings of Neil Diamond, as does the structure and concept of the song...and the vocal register. Conceptually, very interesting and the lyrics paint a nice picture....lots of unique phrases...which is good. I am kind of a stickler for lyrics painting a picture and bringing the senses.
Liked it a lot, good lyrics, good beat, flows well.
Reminds me of Al Stewart. Great instrumentals, good pace, very entertaining and a good arrangements and mix.
interesting song , fiddle, guitar, good musicianship
Fun and clever, innovative instrumentation, really good voice, a winner of a song. Bravo!
Top notch recording and arrangement. The song jumps out at you from the start and covers a lot of ground in 2:15.
